Highland Beach
From The 4400 Wiki, a fan encyclopedia that anyone can edit.
Highland Beach is the sand-embankment to a large lake located in Seattle, Washington and is surrounded by large fields and forests. In Season One, it has been a scene of great or important events relating to the 4400. These include (in chronological order);
- The only abduction by the People from the Future, that of Kyle Baldwin, that failed happened at on the beach, and Kyle was left in a coma while his cousin; Shawn Farrell, was taken instead.
- Shawn visits the beach to try to remember his abduction and he's sucessful.
- Kyle, in a trance after Shawn revived him using his ability, was driven to go to the beach after escaping from Warren Lytell's agents. After finding the exact spot from where he was nearly abducted, a program inside his mind activated and brought Tom Baldwin into a dream-like world set on the beach, where the program, using Kyle's image, explained the purpose behind the 4400, warned Tom of the Catastrophe and explained he had to "help" them, before the program deactivated, ending the simulation and releasing the future's hold on Kyle (unaware that the opposing faction to the future agents planted another program inside Kyle's subconscious, designed to make him kill Collier).
