We need some consistency in actor/actress pages. Some are short and direct abcde is the actor who played fghij, others have very long desriptions even filmographies. Some list whether they are a Canadian or American. Some list birthdates and birth locations. I've just gone through and added IMDB Profiles for all actors and actresses that were listed on [Category:Actors] and [Category:Actresses]. Suggestions on how we should be more consistent? --GeoMike 22:37, 14 October 2006 (EDT)

I was thinking about making a page with a giant table, sort of like the Abduction timeline where we could have the names of all of the minor actors, their characters' names, the episodes they were in, links to their IMDB profiles, and such. It would really consolidate information, help keep the number of articles down, and make sure that the 4400 wiki remains about the 4400. However, it would be very complicated and time consuming to do, very difficult for inexperienced editors to work with, and this site doesn't have all of the table codes that Wikipedia has. I suppose I could start one, and see how it goes. --The Radio Star 02:31, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
I tried it, but I don't know how successful it would be. We would need to decide whether to alphabetize it by first or last name. We also need to figure out which characters are "Major," which are "Intermediate" (like Tess, Kevin, or Matthew Ross), and which are "Minor" (I would say those who have been in only one episode). --The Radio Star 02:42, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
If we assume that minor actors are those who have only played in one episode, we could use this formula:
Actor Name Character Episode Seen IMDB Profile Details
Andrew Kavadas Wesley Hauser The New World IMDB Profile No detail
Actor Name Character Episode Seen IMDB Profile Details

Another option is to have a format similiar to this article. --The Radio Star 03:05, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
Or

==Actor Name== Character, Episodes they were in, anything exciting or relevant, link to IMDB page.

==Actor Name== Character, Episodes they were in, anything exciting or relevant, link to IMDB page.

==Actor Name== Character, Episodes they were in, anything exciting or relevant, link to IMDB page.

==Actor Name== Character, Episodes they were in, anything exciting or relevant, link to IMDB page.

This wiki should be the final destination of all things 4400 right? :) If we need individual pages for each and every actor that is fine. Or for one-time actors put them all on a single page, then that is fine. But going that route we need to keep watch on those actors grouped together because the show could easily reuse a one-time actor for another minor role, then what do we do? Like Will - the homeless man, if he appears in one more episode, then he's not a one-time only actor. Just some more food for thought. --GeoMike 08:35, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
Let's go ahead and put all of the minor actors on one page. That way when someone uses the random page generator it won't take them minor actor after minor actor. I'm going to use option three, with the Actor/Actress name followed by their character, ect. That format is easy to use. Minor will be defined as appearing in three episodes or less. When I'm done with that page, redirect all of the minor actor pages to it. --The Radio Star 18:19, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
Oh, and we have almost a year until new episodes come out. --The Radio Star 18:36, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
I just got through adding IMDB links on all actors/actress pages even the minor ones the other night - oh well, it was good practice I guess :) --GeoMike 21:20, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
Those links are still being used, but they need to be copied and pasted into the new article I started.
